Bulgaria’s Minister of Defence Dragomir Zakov and Her Excellency Aylin Sekizkök, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Bulgaria, on March 14 discussed bilateral defence relations.
They underlined the traditionally good cooperation and outlined the prospects for the development of the bilateral dialogue in the context of the meeting held the day before between Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and Turkeys’ President Recep Erdogan.
Minister Zakov and H.E. Aylin Sekizkök also discussed the situation in Ukraine, the complicated security environment and the challenges facing both countries.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Defence. It was also attended by Brigadier General, Radostin Iliev, Director of the Defence Policy Directorate.
