More than 70% of the intensive care beds for Covid-19 patients in Sofia are occupied.
To date, January 24, 319 resuscitation beds for people infected with Covid-19 have been opened in the capital. 92 of them were available as at 3.30 pm.
The beds for uncomplicated patients with coronavirus infection in Sofia are 1,961, of which 995 were reported as occupied as at today.
A new order for increasing the number of beds for the treatment of Covid-19 patients has been published on the website of Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate. It enters into force on 26 January. Intensive care beds will increase by 5, and the number of uncomplicated patients will be reduced by 12.
