Nine people died in a fire in an old people’s home in the village of Royak, Varna district.
In the incident, there are people who suffered from smoke inhalation. The survivors in the home have been evacuated, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Interior said on November 22. They will be transported by a school bus to the neighbouring village, where they will be accommodated in a hotel.
The signal was reported shortly before 6 pm.
Five fire engines and rescue teams attended the scene. Acording to initial infrmatuon, the fire started from the roof and affected the third floor of the building.
