The Prosecutor's office on June 6 surprised MPs with proposals for major changes in the Criminal Code related to crimes against LGBTI people, the fight against corruption - they propose the introduction of "cooperating" witness, to abolish the punishment for provocation to bribery.
There are also specific texts related to facilitating the work of the European Public Prosecutor's Office. For the second time, an amendment is proposed, which, if adopted, will allow the state to confiscate the cars of drunk and drugged drivers.
The proposals are divided into 49 points and are aimed at providing the necessary criminal protection for hate crimes, abolishing the provocation to bribery, expanding the possibilities for investigating organised crime and corruption, improving the criminal regime of terrorism by separating it into a separate section, introducing a new criminal composition in relation to online piracy, combined with the possibility of blocking websites and accounts, removing restrictions on increasing the penalty
