Members of the public on April 1 protested outside the building of the Council of Ministers in Sofia demanding the resignation of Prime Minister, Kiril Petkov.

Despite the heavy rain in Sofia, protesters gathered under the windows of the government.
They raised flags and banners. They are demanding the resignation of the cabinet because of unfulfilled election promises, price hikes and the country's position on the war in Ukraine.

A group of protesters waved the Russian flag and that of the “Vazrazhdane” party, but were asked by the others to put their flags away.
