Six Bulgarian athletes will represent the country on the first day of the Olympic Games in Beijing.
On Saturday, February 5, ski jumper Vladimir Zografski will be the first to start. He will participate in the qualifications in Zhengjiakou, which starts at 8.20 Bulgarian time. The competition will be broadcast live on BNT 3, as well as online at bntnews.bg/sport.
After that, the Bulgarian participation will continue with the mixed relay in biathlon at 4 to 6 kilometres. Bulgaria will be represented by Milena Todorova, Maria Zdravkova, Vladimir Iliev and Dimitar Gerdzhikov, after Daniela Kadeva dropped out at the last minute because the medical staff decided that it was better not to start in the first competition and be saved for the next
At 13.10 the first of the two sled runs starts tomorrow and our representative is Pavel Angelov.
