Timber companies from South-Western Bulgaria staged a protest on the main road E-79 on April 14 expressing dissatisfaction with the high prices of wood and the artificially created, according to the companies, deficit of the raw material.
The protesters were not allowed to block traffic on E-70. However, they stopped traffic to Razlog and Bansko for more than an hour. Workers in more than 50 companies are taking part in the protest.
