Two women, aged 49 and 53, were injured in an accident at the Arsenal military plant, the prosecutor's office said on April 18.
The accident took place at around 11:20 am in the town of Maglizh (near Stara Zagora), in plant 4, workshop 130. А product has caught fire during an operation using a capsule igniter.
As a result of the accident, the 49-year-old woman sustained an injury in her abdomen and a wound to her left arm. She was operated and her life is in danger. She is currently in the intensive care unit of Kazanlak hospital.
The other woman has fractures of the fingers of the right hand and burns. She has been discharged from hospital for home treatment.
Investigations were opened immediately, witnesses were questioned, and the scene was sealed off.
The prosecutor's office has started pre-trial proceedings.
