Albania’s PM Edi Rama to Bulgaria: It is a disgrace for a NATO member state to hold two other member states hostage

It is a disgrace that a NATO member holds two other NATO countries hostage, Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, commented to BNT the developments in Bulgaria on the matter of the European integration of North Macedonia and Albania.

"You are a mess, a total mess. You are a disgrace. It is a disgrace for a NATO member to hold two other NATO countries hostage in the midst of a hot war in Europe's backyard. And, of course, it is not pleasant to see 26 other countries sitting still in a scary show of impotence," he said

"I prefer not to have expectations of good news, because as I said yesterday, there was some optimism, but here we are - a new day in Europe, but not in Bulgaria," Rama said.
