The series will feature 17 videos written and directed by Kitín Muñoz, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, as part of the Global “The Next 50: World Heritage as a source of resilience, humanity and innovation” campaign.
BNT signed an agreement with UNESCO for the implementation of a joint project to promote the Bulgarian cultural heritage around the world. The series will contain 17 short videos filmed by a team of the public service broadcaster, BNT, screenplayed and directed by Kitin Munoz. They will be broadcast on BNT. The videos will be in Bulgarian, Spanish, French, English and Arabic languages and will be distributed through UNESCO communication channels.
"The BNT project with UNESCO and Kitin Munoz is the result of many joint efforts. Our country has something to be proud of and the promotion of the Bulgarian cultural heritage is an important part of our mission as public service broadcaster. I am glad that we will again have the opportunity to contribute to building a cultural bridge, by presenting Bulgaria to the world," BNT Director General, Emil Koshlukov, said on January 25.
