On June 20, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev participates in the Three Seas Initiative summit in Riga, Latvia. Bulgaria hosted the forum last year.
Radev and the presidents of the participating countries will discuss the deteriorated security environment due to the war in Ukraine and the accession of Kiev and the Western Balkan countries to the Three Seas projects.
Three Seas is an initiative that brings together 12 EU Member States between the Baltic, Black and Adriatic seas and aims to promote transport, digital and energy connectivity between the countries.
Strategic partners are the European Commission, the United States and Germany.
