Caretaker Minister of Innovation and Growth Rosen Karadimov on November 7 made the first sod of the Danube Industrial Technology Park in Svishtov.
So far, eight Bulgarian and foreign investors have expressed interest in developing production in the region, the mayor of the town Gencho Genchev said.
The construction of the park is financed by the Ministry of Innovation and Growth with nearly 27 million BGN under the procedure for the development of industrial zones and parks of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Under it, the Ministry of Regional Development supported 11 industrial zones in 10 cities with a total of 206 million BGN.
