Four persons were detained in Sofia on suspicion of involvement in an organized criminal group, committing crimes related to human trafficking.
As part of the operation of the directorate for combatting organized crime on June 2, five sites were searched and numerous witnesses were questioned. The police identified girls who were victims of prostitution.
During the searches, items and objects evidencing the activity were found and seized, as well as sums of money believed to be of criminal origin.
Work on the case continues under the supervision of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office.
