The 29th Conference on Climate Change begins in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on November 11. Representatives of more than 200 countries are taking part in the summit.
The Bulgarian delegation is headed by President Rumen Radev.
Limiting and preparing for future climate change is the main discussion of the conference. In particular, the plans of individual countries to limit the temperature rise by one and a half degrees compared to the temperature levels before the beginning of industrialization.
A goal set out in the Paris climate agreement. Among the highlights of the forum will be finding financial resources to tackle climate change.
