President Rumen Radev held talks with Jim O’Brien, Head of the Office of Sanctions Coordination at the US Department of State, in New York, the President's press office said on September 27.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topics related to the partnership between Bulgaria and the United States in countering corruption, ensuring the rule of law and increasing transparency in the justice system.
President Radev was on a working visit to the US from September 24 to 26 to lead the Bulgarian delegation and represent the country at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
