On October 16 and 17, President Rumen Radev will pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the invitation of Denis Becirovic, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The European perspective of Bosna and Herzegovina, regional cooperation in Southeastern Europe and strengthening security and stability in the region, as well as topics on the bilateral partnership agenda, are expected to be the focus of President Radev's meetings.
The Bulgarian Head of State will be welcomed with an official ceremony in front of the building of the Presidency of Bosna and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. He will hold a meeting with the three members of the Presidency: Denis Becirovic, Zeljka Cvijanovic and Zeljko Komsic, after which plenary talks will take place between the delegations of the two countries. Rumen Radev and Denis Becirovic will hold a joint news conference.
In Saraevo, Bulgaria’s Head of State will also meet with members of the two chambers of Bosna and Herzegovina’s Parliament, the chair of Council of Ministers, Borjana Kristo, as well as the international community's top representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt.
