Simona Veleva, Chair of the Council for Electronic Media, on October 1 announced that the Administrative Court - Sofia District has suspended the new procedure for the election of new Director General of the Bulgarian National Television (BNT), launched on July 15, 2025.
The court's decision comes follows a complaint filed by one of the candidates, Sasho Yovkov. The decision was received by the Media Council at the end of the working day on September 30.
