On June 3, Sofia's municipality installed a 100-metre long blue canvas in the city centre, in Slaveykov Square, on which anyone who wishes can leave a yellow flower.
The special installation marks 100 days since the beginning of the war in Ukraine and is a symbol of empathy for the Ukrainian citizens.
"With this event Sofia gives a clear sign of support to the Ukrainian people, the canvas will be placed throughout the day," said Miroslav Borshosh, Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality for Culture, Education, Sports and Youth Activities.
