Late last night, June 6, the presidents of France and Bulgaria, Emmanuel Macron and Rumen Radev, held the latest of a series of telephone conversations during which positions were exchanged on the European perspective of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Radev expressed Bulgaria’s expectation for specific results from the Republic of North Macedonia in the implementation of the Copenhagen criteria for EU accession, which will move forward the process of European integration for Bulgaria’s south-western neighbour.
