The Council of Ministers has authorized the entry and stay of a border police vessel of the Turkish Coast Guard in the port of Burgas and the Border Police Vessel Base - Sozopol.
The patrol boat will stay in Bulgaria in the period from November 4 to 8 this year in connection with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan between the General Directorate of Border Police at the Ministry of Interior and the Coast Guard Command of Turkey.
The aim is to increase the effectiveness of the Coast Guard through maritime border surveillance, prevention and combating cross-border crime.
