Early in the morning at 6.05 a.m. on June 22, Unit 5 of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant temporarily shut down.
The unit was disconnected from the country's power system due to a fault in the generator excitation system and protection was triggered in the non-nuclear part.
The reactor was shut down and the emergency protection was triggered.
