An earthquake with a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale was registered near Slivnitsa, Western Bulgaria, the European Seismological Centre said on July 25. According to the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.5.
The earthquake was felt at 14:55. The epicentre was 18 km west of Slivnitsa, in Dragoman and 47 km west-northwest of Sofia. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km. No data on material damage.
