Today France celebrates its National Day.
The traditional military parade began this morning in Paris. By tradition, representatives from countries in the EU and NATO participate in the parade as well.
This year, Bulgaria and 8 more Eastern European countries received special invites.
A representative Guard unit, carrying the Bulgarian flag, will lead the foot march, announced the Ministry of Defence.
Approximately 6300 military personnel, 71 planes, 25 helicopters and military equipment will take part in the parade on the Champs Elysees. Special honours will be given to Ukraine.
