A large amount of antiques was identified and seized by officers of the unit for combating organised crime - Bourgas during a specialised operation in the village of Poroy, Pomorie municipality, on August 23.
The unit for combating organised crime in Bourgas received operational information about a person storing coins and other objects of cultural and historical value. After a check in a private home in the village of Poroy, the police seized 9 pieces of jewellery, 20 rings, 4 silver coins, 1 silver bracelet, 532 coins and 85 irregularly shaped objects.
One person was detained. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case for an offence under Article 278 of the Criminal Code.
