BSP will return the third cabinet-forming mandate unfulfilled

Tomorrow, July 28, the Bulgarian Socialist Party will return the third cabinet-forming mandate unfulfilled, said the party's PG chairman Georgi Svilensky on July 27.

The reason is the decision of the MPs in the plenary to remove the first item from the agenda of the National Assembly, namely - the discussion of the governancet programme of the cabinet, submitted by the Socialists.

"Under the instructions of Desislava Atanasova (GERB) and Yordan Tsonev (MRF), the parliamentary groups of “There is Such a People”, the Movement for Rights and Fredoms (MRF) and "Vazrazhdanel" removed from the parliamentary agenda the legislative programme proposed by the BSP group. It became clear that "Vazrazhdanel" is a crutch of GERB and TISP - of MRF. It became clear that from the first day when TISP declared their willingness for talks, everything was a hypocritical behaviour and they never intended Bulgaria to have a working government," Svilensky said.

In recent weeks we have developed a programme including the proposals of TISP, reflecting how we wanted Bulgaria to develop. Those who did not support Bulgaria to have a functioning parliament and government are responsible for the risk, the country faces, he said.

The responsibility for throwing the country into timelessness without a chairman of the energy regulator EWRC, without accepted prices for heating and electricity, without licensing operators, today lies in the hands of those who sabotaged Bulgaria having a government - GERB, MRF, TISP and "Vazrazhdane", said Georgi Svilensky.

"No one should be in doubt about the dependencies between these four parties. The best thing to do is to look at the votes - there you can clearly see who voted with whom, when and how. GERB - with "Vazrazdane", TISP - with MRF, said the socialist.

The question of the election date should be addressed to the President, Svilensky was adamant.
