In a joint declaration today, October 11, the Presidents of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia condemned the massive Russian bombing of cities in Ukraine.
The heads of state of the B9 countries called for an immediate halt to the attacks on civilian targets on Ukrainian territory, which are treated as war crimes under international law.
The Presidents described the threat of Russia's use of nuclear weapons as unacceptable and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring collective security.
