Bulgaria is not complicit in the preparation of the Crimean Bridge explosion. There is no such official accusation from the Russian side, said Bulgaria’s caretaker Prime Minister, Galab Donev, on October 11.
He added that on Sunday he had ordered the State Agency for National Security (SANS) to start checking the route of the lorry after media reports that its route was linked to Bulgaria. This is being clarified by the relevant authorities.
SANS launched a probe into the route of the lorry that exploded on the Crimean Bridge
"Bulgaria is at a crossroads, a lot of lorries and cargo are passing through, so let's wait for the results of the check. Bulgaria is not mentioned as being involved in the blast, it is only linked as a point in the route. All the documents available to the customs authorities and the Ministry of Interior will be clarified and the information will be passed on to the competent authorities," caretaker PM said.
Galab Donev urged the media to treat the situation responsibly because overexposure is dangerous for national security. As an example he pointed to the fact that there is no "Bulgarian trace" in the case, and this phrase is present only in media publications.

BNT: Will the Foreign Ministry summon the Russian Ambassador for consultations in regards to the statements of the Head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and of the Russian President?
Galab Donev: Look, I’ll say it again, these are just media publications. There is no official attack against Bulgaria from the Russian side", assured the caretaker Prime Minister.
