Dry grasses and bushes are burning on August 5 near the village of Selishte in Blagoevgrad district. The fire has engulfed about 10 - 20 decares. Two teams of firefighters are on site.
Forest officials and volunteers from the Blagoevgrad municipality will also take part in the extinguishing.
The mayor of the village, Georgi Anastasov, told BNT that the fire is far from the houses and there is no danger to people and their homes. Smoke is also visible from Blagoevgrad.
