Free drinking water made available in Sofia during spell of high temperatures

Due to the hot weather this week, the "Social Activities and Integration of People with Disabilities" department of Sofia Municipality has arranged the supply of free-of-charge drinking water to the members of the public in Sofia.

Today, Monday 25 July 2022, the free-of-charge mineral water will be provided from 13:30 at three locations - at the square area outside “St. Nedelya” church, at Eagles Bridge – “Ariana” lake and in front of the flag poles of the National Palace of Culture.

The initiative is part of the annual campaign "Give Water - Save Life" 2022 of the "Social Activities and Integration of People with Disabilities" department of Sofia Municipality to provide fre-of-charge water to the members of the public in the hot summer months.

The water is distributed by the municipality's employees with the assistance of the Emergency Aid and Prevention Directorate until the available quantities are exhausted.
