Ivo Ivanov is the new head of the road infrastructure agency

Caretaker Regional Development Minister, Ivan Shishkov, appointed Ivo Ivanov as Chairman of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency, the press centre of the Ministry of Regional Development announced on August 11.

The previous chairman Todor Vassilev and Assen Nenchev, a member of the Management Board of RIA, have been dismissed.

Ivo Ivanov graduated in International Relations from New Bulgarian University and specialised in Oxford. He holds a Master’s degree of Engineering in Transport Management and Logistics from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport. He worked in the team of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria. After that he was Director of the Communication and Information Directorate at RIA. Ivo Ivanov was Director of the National Toll Authority.

Members of the Management Board of RIA are Teodora Vassileva and Nikolina Chapanova.

Teodora Vassileva graduated in Law from the University "Paisii Hilendarski" in Plovdiv. Since her graduation she has been the managing partner of the Law Firm Yovchev, Chochevi and Partners.

Nikolina Chapanova is a long-term employee of the agency. She is a lawyer, graduated in International Law and International Relations at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has been a member of the Management Board of RIA since 7 February 2022.
