Lightning killed three people in downtown Sofia on September 27. A fourth person is in hospital in serious condition.
The incident occurred in the garden of St. Nikola" temple between the streets "Pirotska" and "Opalchenska".
The signal to the Medical Emergency Service was filed at 18.15, the ambulance arrived at the scene 9 minutes later, the medical emergency centre told BNT. The four people were aged between 20 and 30.
Investigators went to the scene.
A thunderstorm with torrential rain and hail hit the capital after 6pm.
