The Ministry of Finance has reopened an issue of government securities denominated in BGN, maturing on 27 July 2026.
At the auction, government securities of an aggregate nominal value of 200 million BGN were offered successfully, at a weighted average annual yield of 3.01%.
The total subscribed amount reached BGN 301.05 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.51. The reported spread over similar German federal bonds amounted to 147 basis points.
Banks acquired the largest amount of government securities at the auction with 61.2%, followed by guarantee funds - 16.0%, pension funds - 10.0%, insurance companies - 6.0%, investment firms - 1.8% and others - 5.0%.
