There is a 16.5% growth in the index of industrial generation in August 2022 compared to the same month last year, according to the National Statistical Institute.
The largest increase was reported in the production and distribution of electricity, heat and gas - by 51.3%, as well as in manufacturing - by 12.7%. A decrease was registered in the mining industry - by 5.7%.
A slight increase - by 1% was also registered in the index of construction output compared to last year. Growth of 3.3% was observed in building construction, while civil/engineering construction saw a decrease of 2.0%.
