The Council of Ministers held a regular meeting on July 6.
At the beginning of it, outgoing Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said that “We Continue the Change” finalised work on the legislative programme and it would be sent, containing more than 40 draft laws that should be adopted within half a year so that billions of euros from the EC, under the Recovery and Resilience Plan, could be absorbed. That is why the decision of each and every MP is important, as they must decide whether they will take a responsible statesmanlike stance and will stand up for Bulgaria's development, Petkov said.
For the regular sitting, I would like to congratulate Minister Lorer on signing a memorandum for an investment of BGN 84 million in 3D endoscopes.
“We Continue the Change” continues to seek support for a cabinet within the present Parliament. The deadline to come up with a proposal for a new cabinet is Friday, July 8.
