Russia has stopped issuing tourist visas to Bulgarians, BNR reported on July 4.
This restricts the ability of Bulgarian citizens to travel to Russia. Visas are issued only to direct relatives.
The website of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bulgaria still has no information about the suspension of issuing tourist visas.
The news comes amid the Bulgarian government's decision to expel 70 Russian diplomats, Russian embassy staff and their families.
