The driver of the fallen truck near the Daskalovo road junction died, the Interior Ministry told BNT. Although he was pulled out of contact from the cab of the truck, he later died of his wounds in the hospital. The fallen bus has not yet been retrieved. Traffic in the area is in one lane.
Last night the heavy truck flipped, tore the traffic barrier and fell from over 20 metres high. The operation to remove the driver from the van lasted nearly 3 hours. Part of the trailer remains high above the rest of the truck.
