Torrential rain fell in the town of Karlovo (central Bulgaria) on August 22, causing the flooding of numerous houses and streets. The most serious is the situation in the "Meden Dol" residential district.
A tree has fallen on the Karlovo-Vedrare road. The downpour has brought down an electricity pole at the cemetery in the town.
Many cars and lorries are stuck on the ring road.
