"The briefing, which was given by the Minister of Finance Rositsa Velkova, is a briefing given by an extremely thorough professional, who has proven herself throughout the hierarchy in the Ministry of Finance as an expert who knows how to budget. I can not understand what happened when Mrs Velkova was praised by the previous government and now she is being blamed and slandered that she was going to allocate some money for gas, which is absurd," Lyubomir Karimanski from "There is such a nation" commented in "The day begins".
He felt that Ms. Velkova has very clearly shown all the numbers and data that are in the 2022 Budget Estimate and how the target set in the financial framework for next year and beyond relates to actual performance.
Karimanski commented on the consolidated fiscal programme in terms of the deficit in the period from 2023 to 2025.
"If in 2022 we have a deficit of 4. 1%, then in 2023 the deficit grows relative to GDP and from 6 billion. 228 million. goes to 11 billion. 319 million," said Lyubomir Karimanski.
"The growth compared to the updated 2022 programme of approximately 9. 7 billion BGN - 6. 5 billion BGN for the National Budget and 3. 2 billion for the State Budget funds from the European Union", added Lyubomir Karimanski.
He added that only 5 billion are the social and health insurance costs that the state has for 2023.
"Included in this money is 3. 5 billion for pensions. There are no additional income policies", Lubomir Karimanski said.
