The Embassy of Bulgaria in London has sent an enquiry to the British authorities about the information in the Daily Mail that a raid by Cornwall police identified a flower farm in which 200 migrants from Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria allegedly worked in conditions of modern slavery.

No response has been received so far.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of modern slavery and are now in police custody awaiting questioning.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry commented that they were following the case, but so far they have no official information because of the on-going investigation. None of the alleged victims had contacted them.
