The campaign for the October 2 early parliamentary elections in Bulgaria officially started at 00.01 on September 2. The campaign will run until September 30.
A total of 22 parties and 6 coalitions will run for the elections.
It has become clear that the ballot paper will be without the number 21, because the United People's Party has not registered lists of candidates. There are two independent candidates and they will be included in the ballot papers for the respective constituencies.
The campaign is conducted in Bulgarian language and is banned in state and municipal offices and institutions, as well as in the public media outside the designated time.
There will be 9,363 polling stations with voting machines in the country and 290 abroad. They have already been announced on the Central Election Commission’s website.
