Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 189 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 189 from 4,673 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on June 2.

Test positivity rate is slightly above 4%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,165,356.

The active cases are 73,666.

Of the total, 367 patients are in hospitals, 34 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 840 recoveries;

· 486 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 2 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 61,38% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 30 new hospitalisations, of which 80,00% had not been vaccinated.
