Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 240 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 240 from 3,722 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on June 17.

Test positivity rate is 6,4%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,167,706.

The active cases are 62,686.

Of the total, 251 patients are in hospitals, 29 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,269 recoveries;

• 507 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 9 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63,75% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 24 new hospitalisations, of which 70,83% had not been vaccinated.
