Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 630 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 630 from 5,539 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 20.

Test positivity rate is 11,3%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,272,645.

The active cases are 10,339.

Of the total, 692 patients are in hospitals, 58 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 765 recoveries;

• 1,413 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 11 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 61,27% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 90,91% had not been vaccinated.

There were 85 new hospitalisations, of which 72,94% had not been vaccinated.
