The website of the Bulgarian National Radio - bnr.bg was subjected to a hacker attack, the public service broadcaster reported on October 18. The source of the attack has not yet been identified yet.
More than 2,500,000 access requests per second were registered, blocking access to the public radio platform. This is reminiscent of the attack a few days ago, when websites of state institutions were blocked for minutes by the Russian hacker group "Killnet", BNR said.
BNR and the service provider's specialists made every effort to fix the problem and restore access to the site, the radio noted.
