About the quality Bulgarian music and how it should be supported - the Director General of the Bulgarian National Radio Milen Mitev is a guest on The Day Begins.
He said that BNR supports Bulgarian culture and art and Bulgarian authors and performers.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the band "Ostava" BNR has offered them to become co-organizers of the events related to their anniversary. On 20 September at the Antique Theater in Plovdiv "Ostava" will sing for its fans, and on 7 October - in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture.
BNR also cooperates with the Music Theater, Sofia Opera and Ballet. It also partners the Varna Theater and Music Production Center, the National Film Center and the 40th edition of the Golden Rose Bulgarian Feature Film Festival, among other large-scale initiatives.
The Bulgarian National Radio, the Bulgarian National Television and the National Theater "Ivan Vazov" joined efforts to support the victims of the war in Ukraine, he added and stressed that the two national media always cooperate fruitfully.
The filming of the documentary-feature film "Survival" has also started in BNR.
The director of BNR also spoke about whether the listener really wants Bulgarian music.
