A 4-year-old girl, left unattended, drowned in a swimming pool at a family hotel in Chernomorets, (a town on the Black Sea coast, Southeastern Bulgaria).
A report of the incident was received around 6.17 pm, today, June 12, and an investigative task force headed to the scene.
As a result of the police action, it was found that the girl was staying at the hotel with her father, who worked as a cook at the establishment. She was left unattended and fell into the swimming pool near which there was no lifeguard.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
