A group of 38 illegal migrants, transported in a van, was found on the ring road near Montana, Northwestern Bulgaria, the District Prosecutor's Office in the city said on September 12. The migrants have been detained.
The migrants are from Syria and Egypt. Once the identity of each of them is clarified, they will be sent to a refugee accommodation centre in the country.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case. The work is continuing under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Montana.
