The police closed the road Bourgas - Sredets in both directions due to a double fire in the area on August 14.
One of the outbreaks is between the villages of Cherni vrah and the nearby quarry, and the other between the village of Konstantinovo and the quarry.
Mostly dry grasses and bushes are burning.
There are two firefighting teams on the spot and there is no danger to the settlements, the fire fighting department said.
The closure of traffic was necessary due to huge smoke and zero visibility.
The detour route is in the direction of Livada – Polski Izvor villages.
