Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics ensemble achieved the best result in the qualification of the Olympic Games in Paris.
Alina Minevska, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Margarita Vasileva received a score of 37.700 for their five-hoop routine, and 32.700 for the medley with balls and ribbons.

The Bulgarians scored 70.400 points and won the first position in the qualification. The top eight out of 14 teams continue to the finals on Saturday at 2 pm.

Italy came second with 69.350 points (38.200 on five hoops and 31.150 on three ribbons and two balls). Team Ukraine is third with 68.950 points (35.450 and 33.500).
France, China, Israel, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are also in the top 8.
