"Bulgaria Air" continues to carry out flights between Sofia and Tel Aviv, following its mission as a national carrier to provide a safe travel option for its passengers in the complicated international environment after the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, the press office of the national carrier said on August 7.
The airline informs passengers that due to an official recommendation received from the airport authorities in Israel, the airline’s flights on the Sofia – Tel Aviv – Sofia route from the 9th to the 13th of August will be moved to daylight hours. The flight schedule will be allowed to operate between 6:00 – 18:00 /UTC time/, which will result in new changes to the flight schedule.
The new local flight times of Bulgaria Air flights between Sofia and Tel Aviv for the period from the 9th to 13th August are as follows:
- August 09 (new flight times):
FB573: Sofia to Tel Aviv – 06:40
FB574: Tel Aviv to Sofia – 09:50
- August 10 (new flight times):
FB573: Sofia to Tel Aviv – 13:25
FB574: Tel Aviv to Sofia – 16:45
- August 12 (new flight times):
FB571: Sofia to Tel Aviv – 06:40
FB572: Tel Aviv to Sofia – 09:50
- August 13 (new flight times):

"Bulgaria Air" requests the passengers to note that flight times to/from Tel Aviv have been changed after tickets have been issued. For hassle-free travel, the airline urges travellers to/from Israel to check the official airline and Sofia Airport websites for new information prior to the flight date.
In view of the dynamic development of the situation, new changes in the flight programme may be necessary and will be announced in due course. The main priority of the national carrier remains the safety of all passengers and crew members as well as their safe and comfortable travel, the airline said.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Bulgarian citizens to comply with the recommendations given by the Ministry on 31 July this year.
